Vaishno Devi Yatra with Shiv Khori (3 Days, 4 Nights )

Day 1: Arrival in Katra

– Arrival in Katra

• Arrive at Jammu by train/flight and proceed to Katra (50 km, 1.5–2 hours).
• Check-in at the hotel, relax, and prepare for the next day’s trek.
• Optional: Explore local markets in Katra for souvenirs and religious items.
• Overnight stay at a hotel in Katra.

Day 2: Vaishno Devi Yatra

– Early Morning Trek (5 AM)

Start your 13 km trek to the Vaishno Devi Shrine. You can opt for ponies, palkis, or battery-operated vehicles.

– Midway Stop at Adhkuwari
Visit the Adhkuwari Temple en route.

– Vaishno Devi Bhawan Darshan

Seek blessings from Mata Vaishno Devi at Bhawan.
Optional: Trek an additional 2 km to Bhairon Baba Temple to complete the yatra.
Return to Katra by evening.
Overnight stay at a hotel in Katra.

Day 3: Shiv Khori Excursion

– Morning: Journey to Shiv Khori
After breakfast, head to Shiv Khori (80 km, 2–3 hours by road).
Walk the 3.5 km trek to the cave shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva.
– Shiv Khori Darshan
Explore the sacred cave, known for the naturally formed Shiva Lingam.
Return to Katra by evening.
Overnight stay at a hotel in Katra.

Day 4: Departure

– Return to Jammu
After breakfast, check out and travel back to Jammu. If time allows, visit the Raghunath Temple or other local sights.
